GOT JENSEN?: Do you do this too?

For Valentine's Day we baked these ...

And I always do this with the last of the cookie dough ... it just makes me chuckle.

Sorry to those family members that I'm sure I embarrassed/offended.

Melanie said...: Sure ... here ya go Kaelie! Our family has used this recipe forever. It is, by far, my favorite sugar cookie recipe.

Sugar Cookies

2 cup butter
3 cups powdered sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
2 tsp baking soda
½ tsp. salt
5 cups flour
2 tsp. cream of tarter

Cream sugar and butter; add eggs and vanilla; add dry ingredients. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours. Roll into 1/8 inch thick. Bake @ 350 for 10 minutes.
