Marley's 2!!
The cupcake pyramid.
Elizabeth's new trick ... using those flubby muscles in her legs!
A little scared of Grandpa
Can a guy ever get enough tools ... I don't think so.
(Disclaimer: Marley started off looking so cute for her birthday party, but after playing in the sandbox, eating pizza, wetting her pants, and ending up having to wear a pair of her uncles underwear for shorts - let's just say she didn't look her best)
The boys were very excited about the pictures they colored for her.
She picked out her wrapping paper.
I'd say this little toy was the big hit.
Putting the phone in her purse.
Sadly, this wasn't as much of a hit. My mom made her an apron that we've both been pretty excited about. We thought she would LOVE it. Not yet, but she soon will.
This is her flying position.
If you look closely you'll notice a small box of candles on the fireplace. She decided to take a bite out of one.
After things had wound down a bit the adults were sitting at the kitchen table and through the family sliding door, and my parents bedroom sliding door and through the curtains, we were able to see Marley sitting in my dad's chair all by herself, having a conversation with a princess.
Marley's toys have been quite a hit with Dannon too. He loves the babies diapers and the cell phone.
Attempting to diaper her Tinkderbell doll.
Dannon is such a sweet big brother.

August
We headed up to Meek's Bay in Tahoe for a family day trip.
Marley and my dad.
My mom and Marley.
Priceless!
Easy on Sunday morning ... I love times like these.
And then I head into the kids room to find Dannon and Marley reading together - so sweet.
August 24th: Brody's first day of 1st grade. I can't believe he's going to school all day now. My baby is growing up!
And today was Dannon's first day of Joy School! Isn't he getting big?!
Reminder: if you want to be on my safe list and haven't sent me your email address yet, you have until mid-September before I go private.

Change of plans ...
So I was thinking that I still stalk all of your blogs and so it's not fair that I don't blog. So yes I am going to keep blogging BUT I am going private. If you want to be on my safe list, let me know of your email address.

A fond farewell...
I've had a great run with blogging but I think it's time I say "Adieu." I know for some *ahem* Jenn *ahem* ... this is a sad day. All is not lost though, I will update many with our happenings via email. So goodbye, from the Jensen family.

Update ...
Yay!!! Daddies home!!!
They don't know it yet but today we snagged Jeff and Meggie's jet ski and had fun at the lake. Thanks Jeff and Meggie!
Waiting for their turn ...
I can tan I swear ... the problem is is that my thighs never see the sun!
So after a few hours at the lake, Marley was beat. I had to show you this because this is how she sleeps all the time. Pretty cute ... and pretty funny.

Meek's Bay
Yesterday we took a quick day trip up to Tahoe and visited Meek's Bay. Both mom and I forgot our cameras so this picture is actually from 2007. But honestly, the only difference is the kids would be 2 years older.

Time for a long update!
For the Fourth of July we joined the Dees side of the family for the annual Roseville 4th wards breakfast at the park, which always includes a kids parade. Marley is already getting picked up by the local boys. Dad had better watch out!!!

Marley helped Dannon around quite a bit.

Our speed racer.

While Jenn, Mom, and I were out shopping for clothes for the upcoming festivities, Chris took the boys out for some guy time. They ended up at the Air and Space Museum.

Friday morning, the 10th, a friend of mine and I put the wedding cake together. Luckily, the same weekend, the Shumways were in town. So Chris took the kids to play with their cousins in Roseville while I finished up Jenn's wedding cake (pictures at end of post).

July 11th, Jenn and Jeffrey's wedding day. Here the kids wait outside the temple, a little grumpily I might add.

The beautiful bride and groom.

Matty now has to compete for Jenn's love. Oh what is he going to do?!!!

So, in between the wedding and the reception, while I helped my mom get the house and yard ready, Chris again played with his sister and her kids. Here they are at the Shumways.

Jordon and Marley.

Party Time!!

My cake ... honestly, I am so proud!

Time out.

Grandpa trying to make time-out time a little bit better.

Side Note: Who needs a camera anymore ... all of these pictures were taken with Chris' phone. Crazy huh!
